CHEM-DRY VS. STEAM CLEANING
Learn what makes Chem-Dry carpet cleaning much more effective than steam cleanersCompare the Difference
If you’ve ever smelled musty carpets or stepped on wet carpets, then you need JA Chem-Dry and our unique, effective carpet cleaning that dries quickly. We use a patented Carbonated Cleaner that is applied using a low-pressure spray machine, covering your carpet with millions of microscopic carbonated bubbles (instead of excess water). These tiny bubbles explode dirt and grime from the fibers of your carpet and raise them to the surface where they’re easily extracted and cleaned away. With our carbonated cleaning method, we’re able to use far less water than most steam cleaners. That’s why carpets cleaned by Chem-Dry are dry in only 1-2 hours, not days.

Steam cleaners have a very different approach to cleaning carpets. Steam cleaning machines dump lots of hot, soapy water onto your carpets and then attempt to vacuum it back up. Unfortunately, this leaves your carpets soaking wet and usually leaves behind a dirt-attracting, soapy residue. Steam cleaning might make your carpets look clean for a short period of time, but the soapy residue that gets left behind can cause them to get dirty again quickly. Plus, slow drying, wet carpets are the perfect breeding ground for mold and mildew which can be harmful to your home and family.
